Liraz's Aba Comes to Ganon Aleph
Liraz's Aba blows the shofar for his shul, and came to our classroom this week to blow the shofar for the children. We love when moms and dads come to Ganon Aleph! Parents, grandparents, and other family members are always welcome to come to our class to bake, read a story, work on a project, or do any other activity they would like to do with the children.

Emma's Bubbie came with her keyboard , various instruments, and hoola hoops. We sang purim songs, danced to the music, and moved our bodies. A great time was had by all!

Let's Do Lunch
We had very special guests in Gan Daled, Emma Shore's great grandmother, Mickey Bernstein and her friend Rose Weinblatt, both residents of Daughters of Miriam, came to our class. Emma's father, Jonathan, and her brother, Ben, came as well. After joining us during mu
baked by the children with them.
It was a wonderful and moving experience to see three generations in our classroom. We are so glad that we were afforded the opportunity to observe the mitzvah of Hachnasot Orchim in such a meaningful way.

Latkes, Latkes, Good to Eat!
Jacob's grandma, Grandma Marlene came to our class this morning to help the children in Ganon Aleph make potato latkes. The children peeled and grated the potatoes themselves. Grating the onions was an emotional experience for some of them! The outcome was delicious!! Afterward, Jacob's grandma read the children a great Chanukah story. We love having visits from grandparents!
