ONE HUNDRED IS A LOT

Wednesday was our 100^th day of school. Gan Daled wore their special crowns which were made especially for the 100^th day. We read the book Mrs. Bindergarten Celebrates 100 Days of Kindergarten by Joseph Slate.

Gan Daled counted out 100 little snacks on mats. This gave us the opportunity to review the concept of 10’s. 

We joined the other kindergarten classes in the cafeteria where the children enthusiastically performed 100 exercises. The kindergarteners picked up papers with the numbers one through one hundred on them and placed them on the appropriate box on a rug. The colored papers formed the number 100. Another highlight of the day was a Scavenger Hunt for 100 dollars of play money. We had a fantastic time celebrating the 100^th day!
