Ganon Bet Blasts Off

 Ganon Bet blasted off into our solar system yesterday. We created space capsules and astronaut gear for our journey. We even had rocket boosters, and air tanks attached to our space suits. Our trip took us from Mercury through the Asteroid Belt all the way to the dwarf planet Pluto. Ask us about the planets you'd be surprised what we know.

We Work, Work, Work.... in Ganon Bet

The children are taking a hands-on approach as they work hard preparing 

some of the foods for the seder plate.  

They grated 

the maror.

First it was a big horseradish root. Then it was grated into  little
pieces. 

Apples were grated

for the charoset. 

The charoset has a red color to

 remind us of the bricks in Mitzrayim. 

The brave children were excited to try the  maror and charoset.

They couldn't wait to

taste the real  thing of ...

shmura matzah!!

A Windy Day In March With Ganon Bet

They say March comes in like a lion. Today the wind outside felt like a lion roaring. Ganon Bet took advantage of those strong winds and had a great time flying kites.

Hot Chocolate on a Cold Day - Ganon Bet

 It is a cold day outside, but inside Ganon Bet, it is warm and toasty.  To learn about some of the foods that fall under the category of  our last bracha in our unit, we took a short trip to the cafeteria. The yeladim were looking for a surprise treat. First they got a cup of hot water. Next,  hot chocolate powder, milk and whipped cream were displayed. But before we can enjoy this yummy treat a bracha is required. What bracha is made on  all those delicious ingredients? Shehakol of course.
The yeladim enjoyed the treat as they listened to the story Boruch Learns his Brachos.
