Sailing with the Mayflower in Ganon Bet

In Ganon Bet we discussed different sizes. We brought that discussion to the sails on the Mayflower. Which size sail helped the boat more quickly. The children became the wind by blowing through straws. Ask us who won the race.

Sailing with Different Size Sails in Ganon Bet

How does the wind move things? Will a boat move faster if its sails are small, medium, large? These are questions that the children sought to answer as they experimented with toy boats in a tray of water. They blew air through straws and raced the boats! Ask your children what we found out!
