Preparing for the Early Childhood Bake Sale

Ganon Bet helped raise money for "Keren Malki" an organization in Israel that helps children with disabilities. We planned some classroom activities to try and understand what it might be like to live without the use of sight, hearing and physical abilities. First the children were blindfolded and tried walking around the room without help. Next they had to follow directions without being able to hear them. Then we used ace bandages and wrapped their arms to their sides. They learned that it can be hard to cook, clean and play with only the use of one hand.
