REFLECTIONS ON MONET

The Bridge at Giverney
Gan Daled learned about the Impressionist painter, Claude Monet. His style of painting received its name from his famous painting Impression:Sunrise.
Ryan, Ally, and Brian and their "masterpieces"
Monet loved to paint reflections. The children emulated his style as they painted scenes with water and reflections. They used both water colors and tempera paint to achieve this effect. The resulting "masterpieces" were very impressive and worthy of hanging in any art gallery.

  1. This activity certainly "reflects" an impressive introduction and appreciation of the Impressionist movement.
