Which vegetable would you choose for Karpas?

Celery

 The children were given  a radish, carrot, potato and celery. They were able to experience the concept of dipping  the vegetable in salt water. They tried different vegetables and they liked them too! After each taste testing,  the child decided which vegetable they liked the best and wrote their name on a graph. 

And the winner is...Carrot!

Gan Aleph's Animal Planet!

In relation to Parshat Noach, Gan Aleph graphed a box of animal crackers. The children had a blast putting the different animal shapes in the correct column and counting how many of each were in the box. We looked at which animal shape had the least amount in the box and which had the most. Of course, our favorite part of this activity was when we got to eat the crackers! YUM YUM!
