Chazak Chazak Vnitchazeik

The children in Ganon Bet look foward each and every week to Parsha time. This is a time when the children enjoy singing songs, participating in felt story boards , reading books, and cooking or baking . Over the past few months the children have met Noach, Avraham, Sarah, Yitzchak, Rivka, Yaakov, Eisav, etc. Each and every one of these Torah personalities and stories has taught us about mitzvot and middot. As we reached the last Parsha in Sefer Bereishit, Parshat Vayechi, the children reflected back on all the people and stories they learned and decided to create their own Sefer Bereishit. Each child was assigned a Parsha to illustrate. They used pictures or objects related to the story as prompts for their work.
