We are creating our own Rosh Chodesh traditions in the early childhood department. Each class contributes to a communal mural, which is diplayed in the hallway. Then, following lunch, Mrs. Cohen (wearing her new moon hat) gives a little talk about the coming month. We sing related songs and get a special treat. For Tevet, the mural is a winter scene. Morah Yehudit led us in songs about "sheleg"; and our treat was snow cones! Yum!!
