Catching Our Dreams in Ganon Aleph
Dreams were a big theme this week in Ganon Aleph. After learning about Yaakov's dream in Parashat Vayetze, the children talked about their own dreams. Some were magical, some were scary, and some were very exciting! As part of our Thanksgiving unit, they learned about the dream catchers that Native Americans would hang next to the beds of their children to catch their bad dreams. Here you can see the children making their own dream catchers using branches and sticks which they collected outdoors. They stretched yarn around the branches and attached beads and feathers. What a great way to connect parasha learning with the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday!
