Sunday and Monday were Rosh Chodesh Kislev. Boy are we excited!!! The Chanukah spirit is in the air. This week we met the Yivanim, the Macabim, mean King Antiochus, and learned about the miracle of the oil. During playtime we have been exploring various chanukiot, sivivonim,and other Chanukah related objects, on our shulchan ivrit. Putting our fine motor skills to the test, we painted a chanukiah with sponges, to decorate our bulletin board, and dot painted 3-D dreidels.
